Hey, I'm Arielle! I'm a freelance illustrator, comic artist, & art educator born & raised in New York.
Currently, I'm an Artist-in-Residence at Redbubble in San Francisco writing and drawing a workplace comedy comic about Filipina-American witches.
I make narrative illustrations, usually with fashionable young people wearing clothes I wish I had. My comic work has been featured in the Eisner and Harvey nominated anthology Fresh Romance, among other publications. Most recently, I did a series of variant covers for the Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Giles mini-series by Joss Whedon & Erika Alexander.
When I'm not drawing, I organize collaborative zine projects. In 2016, my Hamilton: An American Musical themed zine #Ham4Pamphlet was featured in The Huffington Post, Vox, and Broadway.com. In 2015, I successfully kickstarted Ladies of Literature: Volume 2 with my good friend, Janet Sung.
Outside of work, I love sitcoms, showtunes, superheroes, succulents, sartorialism, and storytelling structure. (Also alliteration, apparently.)
